Just went thru 31 pages on caravan forum but could not find a
similar problem.my'05 caravan r/wiper won't make a complete
swipe without stopping then continuing off & on again.replaced
relay but still the same.initially,it just stopped working,i had to remove the fuse (very strange) to get to my present problem
reinstall fuse & no movement at all.i think this may be tough
problem even for the most experienced mechanic.thanks for any
& all help.

I'm thinking I would start with replacing the wiper switch. It's easy over time for that switch to get liquid or food or just even dirt and dust into it and it may just be wearing out.
Having said that, keep in mind that the wiper switch is controlled thru the HVAC controls which are connected to the BCM via the CCD cable. If connections at the back of the controls have heated up or melted a bit, that can cause connection problems too. You might want to remove the HVAC controls and inspect the connections to make sure they are in good order.
I would also try resetting the BCM and the easiest way is to unplug the negative cable on the battery for a half hour and then connect it back up to try to get the BCM to reboot.
It might be the wiper motor itself but I would try the other steps first before trying to gain access to the motor.
