Default Installing Speaker Wire Under 06 Caravan Carpet

Last Winter I had a new radio, speakers, amp and sub installed on my van. I bought a smaller sub that would fit under my seats and despite it's small size, it sounds great! Here's the link. http://www.jlaudio.com/cp108lg-w3v3-...-systems-93133

Anyway, I had them install the sub under the third seat because I figured if I had people sitting in the middle seat then they might be annoyed with the sub directly under them. Over a year later and I really don't think anyone has sat in the middle row. It's only my wife and I and I bought the van new just to transport my DJ gear around (which I no longer DJ anyway. lol).

They audio shop cut a small slit in my carpet under the third seat and has the speaker wire coming through going to the sub. I just removed my seats and sub to get a good vacuum of my carpet. I took about a 3' section of new speaker wire and wire nutted it to the existing sub wire. I then placed the sub under the middle seat and plugged it in. Let me tell you that it BARELY fits under the secodn row due to the cup holders but it fits without touching the seat. Perfect fit.

Right now I have the wire draped over my carpet between the third and middle seats. How do I go about running the wire under the carpet to have a cleaner install?

No problem, I got it done. I already had the seats out so I unscrewed the plastic covers that go over the spots where the seats lock in to the frame. I was able to fit my hind through one of the middle seat holes and grab the wire that was coming up from the third row. I just had to slice a small hole under the middle row and now it's perfect.

On the plus side, I actually took all the plastic covers off and gave everything a good vacuum. I probably had pine needles that were 5 years old stock down there because I usually just throw the Christmas tree inside since I don't have a roof rack. lol
