Howdy,

My 2005 plain-Jane Caravan brake pedal went nearly to the floor after driving for 20 miles.
It progressively got worse.
Then I parked it for an hour.
Started it up and were now a-okay.
Drove it back 30 miles and brakes are okay!
It does not have ABS and I did have the AC on for the first time.

Is it okay or should I get something checked?

 

Sounds like the master cylinder is not holding at first. If it happens again pump the brakes and if it comes back up then it is probably the master cylinder.

It's been 2 weeks and it hasn't happened since so hmm. I read somewhere that the front drivers caliper might cause this? Dunno. But thanks again!
