hi all

i am new here. seeing as we pick up our new(er) 2009 dodge caravan tomorrow i had a few ideas, but was unable to find out whether it is possible.

currently the van has 2nd and 3rd row bench seating. i was wondering whether it is possible to replace the 2nd row bench with 2 captains chairs.

Ebay vendor limited supply of seats / floor boards and matching colors. I was lucky enough to get matching black material seats but had to go dark gray for the floor boards. No problem for the non-matching floor boards as they are covered up with a Husky floor liner anyways.

i will assume that seing all these conversions that switching from a stow and go bench to stow and go captains should be fairly easy.

 

The 2 seats and floor board were shipped to my sisters in the US so I haven't had a chance to do it yet. My understanding is that if you are handy with a wrench and screwdriver then you are fine. I plan to do a Youtube video on the whole swap as there are none in existence.
