Default Fuel pump removal 2001 DGC 3.8

Any tips for getting fuel pump off a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8?

I've got the straps off on one side and the tank tilted down. Replaced the filter, but having trouble with the tabs for the fuel pump.

Tried big screwdriver/hammer and my 1/4" extension/hammer. Used penetrating spray to help loosen, but still can't seem to get it.

Any tricks or is there a special tool?

Suspecting fuel pump because it suddenly had problems starting (happened after fuel tank run almost to empty, so could have overheated). Car cranks, but won't start. Battery is good (12.5v). Unfortunately, exhibited problems after we filled it up completely. So tank is FULL.

No special tools, make sure you are tapping on right section, highlighted in pic in red, make sure the red part is straight not bent in. Make sure the yellow tabs are not bent over. First time I did one I beat on wrong section until I took a closer look and saw it was a ring inside of a ring. Good luck
