I replaced my rear and front 6x9 speakers today and was interested in changing out the front speakers by the windshield.

I'd like to know if I'm correct in assuming those are 3.5" speakers and if anyone has measurements for height?

Also, I don't have the 9 speaker system but do know there is a spot in the middle of the dash by the windshield for a speaker. Does anyone know if the wiring is there from the factory for a speaker?

I figure while I'm changing out the left and right one on the dash, if the wiring is there for the middle one, I'd hook up a speaker there also.

Go to the Crutchfield website. It'll help you with all those questions. I replaced my fronts only and found out from there that the front and rear 6X9's are different depths.
