I have been working on a dodge caravan for my grandparents for a couple weeks now and cannot understand what is wrong.
The symptoms:
-Stopped running while driving at 45 mph
-will not crank
-no electricity to fuel pump
-All fuses good the fuel pump fuse was blown- replaced and van started ran for about 10 seconds then stopped now wont crank and no fuel pump power. fuse did not blow this time.
-relays are good- tried swapping relays did not help
-mistakenly thought it was bad fuel pump and replaced. then tested old fuel pump and it ran fine.

 

Could be a short in the power line. But I would replace the fuse with a brand new one, one more time just to be sure.
