It wasn't a huge deal. I am only somewhat mechanically inclined. You got to take off alt., compressor, tensioner, one of the motor mounts, and pull crankshaft pulley off. Oh, yeah and the oil pan. I put on a new gasket while i had it off.

The only problem i had was a stupid one. I put back the cover on a bit crooked because i didn't put enough rtv under the gasket, to stop if from moving while matting the cover to the motor. Therefore I had to do again.

A real mechanic should be able to do it in 6 hrs. At 70 bucks an hr. unless at dealer and then more. OR maybe less then 70 bucks if you find a guy on the side or on craigs list.

I just studied what i had to do before i did it. got small bags to put the different bolts in i.e. alternator, tensioner, and then also labeled the bolts to what slot they go back in. They will help allot.

Also when putting back crank sensor, you will have to put a tab on the end of the sensor going down in the slot. I cut a business car into a circle and pasted to the end with grease. This will make it the distance it should be within the slot from the crank. They actually sell the tabs at dealer, but you have to buy 10 at one time. it cost about 20 bucks..so forget that.

So is there a gasket kit for this or do I just need to figure out which ones I need?

Is there a gasket set for this or do I need to buy them individually? I'm assuming that I'll be buying a gasket for where the leak is, someone posted somewhere that Dodge RTVd it instead of using a gasket originally. Trying to save a few penny's.

I went to advance auto and bought gasket for timing chain cover, which came with crank shaft seal, it cost about 13 dollars. it was less expensive this way then buying them separately.

I also bought the oil pan gasket, felpro. I bought the blue rubber one. worked perfect.
