the front vinyl part of a cloth seat is cracking and now i need to do something about it as it is always catching clothing or scratching legs.

i am open to options including.
- remove seat cover and replace vinyl (i was told the seats are glued to the foam - is this true on this year).
- remove seat covers as above and install leather covers (anything good out there for just fron row for under $400)
- least favorable is to put leather covers over existing.

if you have done this or know of some good products please share.

being in Canada, i willl likey be installing heated seats during this process.

 

If you want to do Leather seat, Look for Katzkin. They are one of the highest quality leather seat out there used by many shops and dealer. And they always fit perfect.
Look thru Ebay for lower price, just make sure u talk to the seller before u buy.
sometimes you an score all 3 rows for less than $600
i've done them b4, took my like 2 days. But they are nice!

I dont think they are glued, they are usually retained by C-Clips.
