Started in summer 2011 at 33,000 miles, when in traffic and the A/C has been on for a while, the front blower quits working. Still works in the rear. As you drive alone, the air will barely come out of the front vents. The faster you go, the more air comes out. Rear works fine. We pull off the road to go into a store or a place to eat, get back in, the front blower works again.
Took it to a local Dodge dealer and reported the problem. The mechanic (for the lack of a better word) ran the van for 30 minutes and wrote on the form, cannot duplicate the problem.
This summer, the same problem occurs and now I have 48,000 miles (no extended warranty). Anyone else experienced this problem. I suspect the fan motor but wanted to see what anyone else thought before tearing into this thing.
