i had a full tank three days ago. i have been driving my van for 40 kms already and my fuel gauge needle is still at full. i know something is wrong. please tell me how to fix it. thanks.

 

I would drive it a bit longer but if you insist hop in the fuel tank and change the fuel pump assembly. The fuel level sender is built into it. Then again you could engage the instrument cluster test and hopefully dislodge a stuck gauge. Push both the trip and reset ***** in on the instrument cluster then turn the key to on. Release when you see the lights and gauges start cycling.
