Hi guys, so i have a 2001 dodge caravan se with about 250,000 kms on it. I was driving it around the other day and drove fine (went on highway and throught city), when my fiance left shortly after and drove the van to pick up something it stalled on him when he left the driveway and now the van wont go past 70/80 kms an hour (4 or 5th gear), and if you do get it up to that speed the rpm reves high and stays at 5/6 rpm. Ive tried looking this up and says something about it being in limp mode?? Can someone help figure out what this problem is?? Please and thank you

 

Smacks of a torque converter problem. Is the service engine soon light on? Have the codes read with a scanner.
