I have a 2009 Grand Caravan with the 4.0 liter. I started the van today, I have 4 guages (gas, speed, tach and temp) all four work, but nothing else, typically digitially it tells me the mileage, radio station, direction, what gear I am in and I noticed the turn signals work, but I cannot tell, same with the E-brake.

Any suggestions????

The problem is most likely a module that's failed on the data bus. Before you can start troubleshooting, it's important to understand how these things work. It's not at all like the old days. I've drawn up a simplified version of the Chrysler high and low speed data bus. So click on the link below and read how it works and click on the PDF to download the diagram. It looks really complicated but it's not nearly as bad as you think once you "get it."

A pro would troubleshoot with a Chrysler scan tool. But if you get yourself an alldata or eautorepair.net wiring diagram to locate the modules that share the bus you can troubleshoot on your own. Just disconnect the modules one at a time until you get communications again.
