Van stalls when put in gear
Our 1996 Dodge Caravan stalls when put in gear. My husband replaced the tcc solenoid...still same symptoms..what next?? Any suggestions.. Oh it has 160,000 miles on it.

Mine was doing the same thing. Ended up having the trans rebuilt. I had a thread about it a month or so ago.
The torque converter was bad, and there where metal shavings in the pan. Cost me about $1600.
Good luck with yours. Hope it works out better for you than it did for me.
By the way, mine is a 2003 Caravan Sport with the 3.3 liter, and only has about 71,000 miles on it.
