2003 Dodge Caravan problem...
Over the weekend my check engine light came on. The codes I pulled up were 1684 and 0420. I brought the car into a Dodge dealership this morning and they're saying I need a new catalytic converter and an oxygen sensor and it's going to cost $1,800. Does anyone know if this is a little steep or is this just the going rate for this type of problem? If it makes any difference, the car is going to be repaired in SC.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

Any shop can do this. Call around. Just make sure they use OEM parts. Aftermarket cats have a sour history. If you're under 80K miles there is a federal emissions warranty on cat converters.
