Replacing oil pressure switch on 2007 Caravan
Do you have to remove the oil filter assembly/bracket that mounts to the block to replace the oil pressure switch on a 2007 Caravan?
I was barely able to get the electrical connector off the switch because the AC line is right up against it. Even if I had a deep 1 1/16" socket the AC line would not allow me to connect the wrench to the socket.
It looks like I could remove the oil filter assembly from the block (2 bolts) then I could get to the switch. I don't want to remove the oil filter assembly without knowing if that is the only/best option.
If I do remove the oil filter assembly is there a gasket that will need to be replaced or other risks associated with its removal?
Clearly I need some guidance/advice on how to proceed.
Thanks!
