Instrument cluster repair

I think my intermittent no start problems are caused by a bad instrument panel. It will start and them immediately shut down. The ABS light is always on. Sometimes the panel works, sometimes it doesn't.

I think I can remove it myself with help. But them what do I do with it? I don't have a soldering iron and don't know how to use it.

I saw this online: my airbags.com but they don't list the Plymouth grand voyager 1998 in their list of cars. And I am not even sure if that's what I need.

Why pay someone to do it when it can be done so easily for free. This video shows you how to repair the cluster once you remove it. A soldering iron can be had for $10 at WalMart etc.

Hmmm
Ok I assumed those irons weren't that cheap. I guess I will give it a go.

I got an iron at me local walmart for 6 bucks and it worked.
