For your area, the best way to find out what others charge for the same thing.....is to call a few shops. Tell them what vehicle you have and then give them your list of items to change.

It doesn't sound out of line to me. Plugs and wires at Autozone are anywhere from $50-100, depending on exactly which ones you select (you can go cheap or get the expensive ones...which did they use?). Most shops buy stuff from parts stores for the same price you pay, then they double it. Almost all of them do that. Oil changes will range from $20-60 depending on the oil selected and filter....same story, you can get cheap oil and filter or expensive oil and filters. Throw in the air filter for $15-25.

I wouldn't balk at $300.

Call around to other shops to get a quote, let us know what you find out.

The Dealer ship I work at will probably charge about the same price for all of above, all factory parts. It is not a great deal, but it really isn't a rip off either.

If that was done at a dealership that sounds about right. A dealership around here charges nearly $200 for plugs and wires, add a $25 air filter, oil change and probably some extra shop time just for good measure and you are at the $300 mark if not a little more.

I wouldn't consider it a rip off, but I do prefer to do my own work, then I get to pick what I pay for parts and don't pay the labour
For example, on my 05 3.3L GC I very recently replaced the spark plugs and wires, power steering reservoir, transmission fluid (all ~8L), transmission filter, engine air filter and all 3 wiper blades for under $225. It took me a good part of a day in the garage, I made a bit of a mess and got a few battle scars in the process but I felt it was a good use of the day. Everything but the wiper blades and transmission fluid was from a dodge dealership so it was pretty much all OEM parts.

That's all part of the fun of it. Course when that happens I throw tools and cuss. It helps the pain fade.
