Hi,
I have 2002 T&C with 3.8L engine. Van has 143K miles and Intake manifold gasket is leaking. and I am going to change that next weekend.
I am planning to do
1) Intake manifold gasket
2) Valve cover gasket
3) injector o rings
4) Spark plugs

I am wondering what else should i do when upper intake and valve covers are removed..Van is on original engine which was never rebuilt.

Also how much time should i expect to spend on these?

I'd clean the IAC and throttle body but only use cleaner specifically for that use. I just did mine a couple of weeks ago and put some Sea Foam directly into the injectors.
Plug wires, if needed, would be a whole lot easier with the intake off.

PCV valve.

 

It's not required at all. I assume you have a small torque wrench since the torque values for the manifold are pretty small.
