I have a 2002 Caravan cE 2.4l. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago and it checked out fine with my mechanic. After the first week the transmission started acting up. It will "stutter" off the line then at higher speeds it will not want to stay in gear. If you give it any gas it will down-shift. On even ground it will maintain speed but as soon as you give it much gas it downshifts. At times it will go back and forth between gears rapidly.
I took it to a transmission shop and of course the problem went away so they found no problem. The check engine light has not come on and it is not throwing any codes.

Any thoughts?????
