Fisrt time here and needing help. The radio in my caravan turns on,shows station display and everything else ,but no sound. have cd/DVD/and tape.
tried a cd and dvd.They play but no sound.Is this common? And how do I repair?

 

O.K. through some long searches on the net..it turns out my '04 grand caravan sxt has a 2005 stereo system.Each of the front four speakers has it's own amp. and back speakers are powered by one in the back of the van. There is a relay for the sound system in the fuse box under the hood. I changed the relay and voila...I got sound..problem solved
