Default Beefing up a Ram C/V

Anyone familier with the new 2012 Ram C/V's? I have 2 2011 Dodge Grand Caravans in the Commercial package and 4 2012 Ram C/V's. I want to beef up the rear shocks best as I can and I'm looking for a good rear shock/spring combo to do it with. I knowtest on the 2011's that the rear shocks are double the size in diameter of the 2012's. Does anyone know what the differance is? Also is there a way to find out what every opion is on a vehicle by pluging in the VIN #?

Any help here would be great!

Thanks

The Fat shock absorber are Load Leveling shock, I believe. That means it will level itself to a fixed ride height regardless of the weight in the vehicle.(to a certain extend, of course)

Really? So that was a factory load leveling shock they put in the 2011's and then none in 2012. Makes no sense. Thanks

I've had good experience with the Monroe Sensatrac Load Leveling shocks. They are a shock with a spring built around them that bolt up like your normal shocks. Have them on my Dakota and Windstar and both sag significantly less when loaded.

They do have it in 2012, but they have always been an optional equipment, even in 2011.
If you have a Mopar Load leveling Shock, I don't see why would u change it to anything else. And yes, they are interchangeable.
But then again, I can not confirm is the Skinny shock are NOT also load leveling too. So you may want to get a Built sheet from your dealer, or look at the MSRP Sticker to make sure.
