pcm nightmare! !
98 grand voyager...should be the same right? ..197 345 miles. 3.3L
Died at low speed, started missing and then died. While diagnosing at parking lot it cranked fine, didnt start. replaced the fuel pump, now there is no crank and no start. While towing it home the battery voltage was really down. Didn't realize until I went to crank it and it made the classic low battery rapid starter clicks. Swapped batt to a fresh one. Then no crank. Started diagnosing more and blamed the pcm, got a junkyard one, turned out to be an Auto Computer Exchange one, didn't reprogram it. Installed it and fired right up like nothing even happened ran for 5 secs then died. Computer is dead again. Asd relay worked when it started now it doesn't. I believe there is a short somewhere and I wanna know if this is pretty common or not, if someone knows where this short is. anyone's help is appreciated. Also, would not reprogramming the pcm cause this?

Like throwing parts at the problem, huh? If the PCM from the junkyard came from a vehicle with anti-theft and yours doesn't have anti-theft, the PCM is a brick now. You can't just swap those things around without reprogramming.
The most common failures on these engines are the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Fuel pump would have been last on my list.
Check the crank and cam sensors to see if you're getting good signal. THEN go after the PCM.

Sorry I edited it. At first I had spark compression and air, just no fuel. Had voltage at fuel pump connection. So I replaced the pump but while towing.g it home the battery went really low, next day after replacing the pump and I tried to start it I got the fast clicks from the starter due to a low batt. Swapped it, tried to crank and then no crank :/ I only have 1.5 volts at orange signal from pcm, also at connector 2 pin 43 I believe, good ground on sensor, good signal oscillation.

You need a good scanner to test both fuel and spark. I use an Autoenginuity unit. It can send signals to the PCM to fire the injectors and coils.
I've had a number of PCMs from Auto Computer Exchange, but finally got a good one in the car and it has worked for the last couple of years. I'd get another one from them when I need one.

i fixed it shortly after posting that. i was checking sensors for voltage and found out they were shorted to ground. turns out the heat from the fron exhaust manifold melted the harness above it, the ground that is connected to the block on the transmission side fused with many other wires. separated the wires, new pcm and it fired right up. i also had to do the instrument cluster fix. hasnt had any problems since
