Default 2006 Caravan Winshield Washer Fuse

Hi. Windshield washer stopped working, front and back. Wipers still work. No noise from pump, so I want to check the fuse. In fusebox under hood, there is supposed to be a 15 amp fuse for this, but in that spot there is no fuse!!! And I can't even put in a fuse there, because it's just empty plastic holes, without metal under them to hold the fuse. So...do some 2006 Caravans have a fusible link somewhere instead of the regular fuse in the box!!?? When I press and hold the button for washing, after about 2 seconds there is a "click" somewhere around the steering column or dash. Any ideas would be much appreciated...!!!!???

There's no fuse depicted on the wiring digram for your model year. The washer motor is controlled by the Front Control Module (FCM) via the PCI data bus. The FCM is bolted to the front of the IPM (fuse box).

Hi Cougar41, and thanks a million for the reply. There is a fuse listed in my owner's manual, and pictured on the inside of the fusebox, but in reality, no fuse. I'll be trying a replacement of that Front Control Module, once I'm sure it's not just a dead pump. I'll get back with my results. THANK YOU!

90% of the time it is the pump but it's that 10% that complicates things. Check voltage at the pump forward in the passenger side wheel well under the liner

The fuse missing is an export slot for the headlamp washer pump
