Default Strut Spring Compressor

What strut spring compressor do you recommend for a DIYer for the grand caravan struts? Also, what are your recommendations for replacement struts? Thanks

Just go buy a pre-assembled strut, save u a lot of headache for few more dollars.
KYB, Monroe, brand doesn't matter, just what ever availible to you locally is fine.

You will save yourself a lot of headache and time by buying pre-assembled unit, and this is from experience.

I bought a Harbor Freight unit. Don't bother unless you're working on a Fiat 500 or Chevy Aveo. Another option would be to take the new strut to a mechanic and have them change the strut, leaving you to do the final installation in your van. That's what I did and it was cheap.

Just changed mine with Leacre units ($85 each) and they work very well. I changed the cartridges earlier this year and still had a clunk in the driver's side. Complete new units will restore the ride height and save time, money and aggravation.
