My dash lights/digital readout and the steering wheel radio controls are not working. I've check the fuses and the relays is there anything else that could be the issue?

yes, maybe the Cluster is dead. The Cluster is the central hub for all these interior control. There really isn't any better way to find out why it i doing it except using a Chrysler scanner. You might want to visit the dealership or a shop.
anything else not working?

The gauges are still working just no lights and digital display. I traced the wires coming from the steering wheel to a control modular under the dash. It also controls the gauges. Could this be the issue?

You are probably talking about the steering control module. It is possible that it could cause the radio button not working, but it has nothing to do with the lights and digital display. The Cluster the only thing in common wit Light, Display, and steering wheel control.
So, you either have 2 separate problem, or you have problem with ur Cluster.
These are expensive parts, can't just throw a new one at it and hope it will fix it. I recommend you to go to a professional to diagnose it right the first time.

I found the issue it is a loose wire going to the control mod.

Nice work. The electronics on these vans are slowly getting DIY proof. Glad to hear you bucked the trend.
