2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Blower Motor
The blower motor works intermittingly. The blower will run for a few minutes then quit. This problem has been ongoing since I purchased the van in March 2012
Last evening the blower motor would not work for 15 minutes then it came on & went off several times. This AM I had the drivers door & sliding door open. I was lowering the stow & go seat & the blower motor came on ran for 3 or 4 seconds & stopped this happened 3 times. The key was not in the ignition & the van was not running
Some times by turning the ignition off & restarting the van the blower motor will restart. This did not work yesterday.
This happens using the A/C & the heat.
The Blower Motor was replaced last winter.
I replaced the resister this spring.
Checked & cleaned all the grounds.

The TIPM supplies power to the blower motor. It goes through the motor, to the resistor and gets grounded by the control head. When it doesn't work, you need to check for power at the dark blue wire. Dark blue with a yellow tracer is the ground side. If you have power at the dark blue and nothing at the other wire, bad motor. If you have no power you need to back track toward the TIPM, could have corroded connections or something. Power at both wires means it is not grounding, could be a bad control head or something.
