Alternator / ECM issue
Please help,
2001 Dodge caravan v6 3.8 just put in new fuel rail new #6 injector new ecm. Ran the van about 20 mins seemed fine turned the engine off started back up its running sluggish used a test scope to listen to injector and i am getting a straight stream or constant flow of fuel flooding it out and i can smell and see fuel leaking from the valve cover and suggestions. When i pulled the wire harness from alternator seemed to clear up and run fine. Any help would be great can afford high mechanic cost

Power goes to all injectors from auto shutdown relay. So there's power at all times when ign is in RUN. PCM grounds each injector based on inputs from crank and cam sensor. You've got a short to ground in the wiring harness. Pretty common. Open the harness and check for melted insulation. Most likely disturbed harness when you put in new fuel rail.
