I just bought a 2012 Grand Caravan for my wife. While I was driving it last night ,I started playing with the far left dash vent and the little thumb handle fell off in my hand.
I have the pieces.It just came apart. How can I remove the vent and get the pieces back together?
It is out of warranty by miles, so I prefer to fix myself.

you remove the headlamp switch and bezel. Then you reach through the hole and depress the retaining tabs on the vent and slide it out.

 

Thanks. I did manage to replace the slide bar and backing with a homemade
"L" shaped tool.
