I purchased a pre-owned 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. I bought the van at mobility dealership, can I just go into my local Dodge deler and transfer the remainder of the factory warranty. Prior to purchase my mobility dealer told me they purchased the van off a rental fleet, and then had a mobility conversion added by BraunAbility.

Warranty follows vehicle, not owner.

 

However, if it is a Handicap conversion van, it means it is HEAVILY modified, from Fuel system to suspensions, body electricals,doors and windows, etc... Don't be surprise if your dealer tells you they will not waranty 80% of the items in your van.

 

I didn't catch that, for sure any part that is modified it is voided.
