New caravan R/T
New to this forum and found a lot of good info. Just like to share some thoughts I have about the Caravan.
Never ever thought I would buy a Dodge Caravan......never. During the last year we had to rent a van several times to haul cargo. Each trip, about 450mi round trip was uneventful, no problem at all. PLenty of cargo room and very comfortable considering my back and age.
In the past 15yrs we've owned 2002 Hummer H2, 4 Corvette Z06's, Chevy Z-71 PU and several work s-10's pickups. Now I'm retiredI and was looking for one vehicle to serve our needs. THen I remembered those Grand Caravans we rented, and thought why not. Was thinking my friends would think I totally lost it. So, last Sat we bought a 2013 Black Grand Caravan R/T. Couldn't be happier, reminds me when the H2's came out July 2002 and we had the first one in Jacksonvillle.......you know the rush of a new vehicle.
Now it's Jan 18th and we had the van for a week. The power this van got is unreal. Didn't drive the rentals at all, just sort of cruised along being a rental.
I don.t know of any option that could be added that I would want, maybe all wheel drive. But, my wife and I agree on one thing, we were both very happy and surprised at our choice. Now, we have a vehicle that has, good looks, very good power, plenty of room for grand children and practical. The first practical vehicle I have ever bought.
