Dodge Grand Caravan Shift Indicator Lights Up All Gears
Please help me if you can:
I've a Dodge Grand Caravan Sport 2002 that has 178k, and a week ago the shift indicator lites up all the gears "PRND3L" when it is either P or N but when it is the other gears it works fine, Car drives normal and I was told to check the wiring and the fuse box and the TCM wires, I took it to the garage, and the said that all wires is ok but transmission range sensor and the neutral switch needs to be replaced. No engine light and the only code they told me was p0706....do you think I should change the speed sensors first before doing the recommanded switches.... Please help me if you can....Thanks

P0706 is Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) out of range. Sounds like the TRS does have a problem.
The TRS is the park/neutral switch so not sure what they're talking about there. Speed sensors have nothing to do with it. Check the vertical connector on the front of the transmission for corrosion or damage. If it's soaked in fluid thoroughly clean it.

PRND3L is the gear shift indication for a 41TE transmission.
