I am asking this about my daughters 2008 Grand Caravan, she was turning into a shopping plaza on snow covered roads, as she applied the brakes the traction control symbol lit up and then the brakes started acting in the ABS mode and ever since that incident, the vehicle acts as if the ABS is in operation whether she is on snow covered or dry roads, the traction control symbol lights up then the pulsing in the brakes start, even if she switches off the traction control by pushing the switch, it still acts like the ABS is being applied to the brakes (pulsing) There is no code that is shown when I put on the code reader so I have no idea where to start to trace this problem, any help would be appreciated, thank-you.

 

How's the condition of your tires?

 

The tires are all in excellent shape.

 

Maybe one of the wheel speed sensor is knock out. You might have to get it into a shop, hook up their scanner and see which sensor is glitching out.

A Generic Code reader will not work on stuff like ABS problem.

 

I was using an,OTC 3111 OBD II, CAN and ABS Scan Tool and still no code showed up
