Default Coolant leaking onto top of engine block: 2006 GC 3.8L

Saw this thread, and wondered if the problem with the "T" connector applies to the 2006 3.8L.

The engine oil is clean, and vehicle is otherwise running well.

Also, I don't know that it matters, but the owner's manual has slightly different descriptions for the approved coolant:
Pg 443: "Fluids and Capacities"
Mopar Antifreeze/Coolant 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula or equivalent

Pg 444: "Fluids, Lubricants, and Genuine Parts"
Mopar Antifreeze/Coolant 5 Year/100,000 Mile Formula HOAT (Hybrid Organic Additive Technology) or equivalent
Is it enough to just find "Mopar-compatible" labelling?

By the way, just where is this "T" the other thread talks about??? Between the engine & firewall?

The "T" is for the '08 and newer vans and it comes out the other side of the intake where the upper radiator hose goes in. If you are leaking coolant on the back side in that area, very common for the intake to leak and drip down the back of the block. Mopar 5yr coolant is HOAT, use something compatable.

Thanks, Tizzy, for the quick reply.

The coolant is collecting in a depression that I wouldn't exactly call "on the back side". I've been looking for about 20 minutes, and can't find the source. Of course, this happened yesterday, and the car hasn't been running at all today. Is it possible that the leak could spray upwards from below? The drip I see is going down the side of the engine block closest to the battery.

My 2005 was doing that and it was the intake manifold gasket. It was covered under my warranty

So the coolant is pooling on the transmisson or running to the ground. Could have a t-stat leak but not very common. Usually need a mirror to see the intake leak.
