Anybody have the service procedures for changing the door? I hear there's a rod attached that prevents the passenger door from being opened while the fuel door is opened. The car belongs to a friend of mine so I haven't actually looked at it yet.

 

I just removed the door on my '03. Yes there is a rod that is accessible after removing the interior trim panel next to the bench seat. I removed the bench seat and the seat in front of it to make it easier. The rod will slide out.The door itself not only comes out but the whole frame for it. you have to reach in the opening and release the plastic tabs that go around the opening. Hope this helps. Again mine is an '03 though. Maybe someone can give a more detailed instruct.
