1996 Caravan "re-settable" fuses or circuit breaker for power windows
All of the windows in my parents Caravan stopped working. Currently they are in the down position. Owners manual states "resettable fuses". Been searching and cannot find a definite answer to where these breakers are. AllData wasn't much help either.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I solved the problem myself. After pulling the large 40 amp ignition fuse and re installing it the windows work.
I found some info on ALL-DATA that stated the window circuit breakers draw power from the ignition switch circuit and that it also was built into the under hood power distribution center. Easy fix it seems.
Why the windows tripped the breakers? I don't know but at least my parents can go see their grand kids now with the windows up. If it happens again, I'll have to dig deeper and inspect the window tracks for resistance and such.
Not a very technical answer but I'll leave that to the experts. The van has over 200k miles on it and this is the first time they've had problem.
