Not a Caravan but something. I have a 2011 Town and Country and I'm replcing the front pads and rotors in the next day or 2. Does anyone know the torque specs for the caliper to bracket bolts? Also, are the any special precedures that have to be done? I've done plenty of brake jobs before on other cars so i just want to make sure it's the same process. I usually get the Haynes maual for all my cars but apparently they don't have one for the 5th Gens. yet so any help would be appreciated.
This may have been asked before but I couldn't find anything so thanks for the help.

There is no Haynes yet for Gen5, but Chilton has a "professional" version that covers 2008-09. For the 2008-09:

• Caliper bracket to knuckle: 125 ft lb/169 N m
• Caliper guide pin: 26 ft lb/35 N m

For what it's worth these are the same for 2007 and I'm willing to venture that they are the same for 2011.

As for procedure I mostly follow the same procedure for front brake pads on my 2008 Caravan and my rice rocket (Acura Integra) without any problem. The Caravan's factory rotors on the other hand were a PITA to remove. It looked like they put some sort of adhesive on the rotor hats to keep them in place during factory assembly (a purpose served by small screws on my rice rocket and many other cars). Not sure if they still did this for 2011.

Personally, if I had any variation of the newer Grand Caravan or Town and Country, I would be looking into some drilled, slotted or even both, rotors to replace the fronts. My step dad has a 2009 or a 2010 and the front rotors have warped on him numerous times.
