I have a 02 GC Sport with 3.3 and it has a slight jerk from 1st to 2nd and sometimes when downshifting in that those gears. I haven't had it long so I've never been under it. I am hoping its a mount issue and not something with the transmission. I know the front left is bad because the rubber has separated and is sagging down. But I can't seem to locate this mount to see if its bad:

I think its call the rear left but I am not sure. Could these mounts being bad cause the shifting symptoms?

 

What are your RPMs when it downshifts and upshifts between 1st and 2nd? Usually these vans start in 2nd.

 

I'll have to report back on that one. As for this mount I am going to assume no one knows where this mount is located or is it for a different year? Or maybe it can't be seen from above the car?

 

That is the rear mount, it goes back on top of where the rack and pinion is on the craddle
