Can I program a 2012 Grand Caravan 6-button fobik myself if I have 2 working fobiks? I have tried searching for an hour and cannot find anything definitive. I see lots of people selling Fobiks for 2012 Grand Caravans online and they all say "you can program it yourself".

I have tried to follow the 'standard' procedure posted about putting the first key in, then the 2nd, then the 3rd. But I never get the chime and light after the 2nd key. I did successfully follow the procedure in the past on a 2006 GC so I know what to do...

Any help would be appreciated...

 

they might of changed things in the new vehicles. mine is a 2010 and worked. i can say either try again. but maybe the key you got has not been wiped clean from a previous use and thats why that its not taking. i beleive it can only be programmed once without the right equipment to wipe like a dealer. a ebay who i got mine sells them to me that are refurbed and they said test them and then wipe them before ship.

i know they removed the procedure from the manual in the newer vehicles aswell.
