Turn signals stop working intermittantly. Have replaced the multi function switch, but problem still exists.

Any suggestions?

 

Sounds like it could be the body control module.

 

According to wiring diagragms the body control module doesn't control signal lamps. I had the same problem in my 96 grand caravan ( no turn signals but hazards worked ) and replaced multi-function switch without result. So, I found the flasher module on the fuse block by the steering column and was able to remove the module ( part# 4686094, looks like a tall relay type unit ). I popped the module apart and found that one of the copper tabs on one of the relays inside was bent from wear. I pressed on it with a knife and straightened it out. I put it back together and plugged it back in to the fuse block and now everything works! It will probably only last a little while till it bends again, but, hey....

 

I have the same problem with my 2005 Grand Caravan. Except the signals went wacky on me the right wouldn't work and the left wouldlwork if it the lever was turn for the right. Or it just doesn't work at all. What did you find was your problem??

 

I reseated the flasher unit a week ago. It has been working fine since. Thanks for the tip. This was really driving me NUTS!!!!!
