Does anyone know where I can get ABS codes read? My reader does not read ABS codes.

Stopped in at Advance Auto today and the guy there said they weren't allowed to read them since it was a safety issue? Typically, can the parts stores read them for you or do you have to pay someone?

 

Typically parts stores will only read powertrain codes but it wouldn't hurt to call around and ask. If they don't it may be worth investing in your own ABS scanner. Here's some examples: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...BS+code+reader
