Default Cluster swap possible?

My 2008 GC SE has no tach on the instrument cluster. Is it possible to do a plug-and-play swap with a cluster that has a tach without having to rewire or reprogram anything? I guess my main worries would be if the wire harness that the cluster plugs into has a signal for the tach, and also if the odometer data is stored in the cluster.

I'm pretty sure the mileage is stored in the cluster. The cluster in that van serves as the body control module as well. And it wouldn't be plug and play, codes would have to be entered into the Chrysler computer system and then the TIPM would have to be updated with those codes. Fun, fun, fun!

Sounds like more effort than it's worth. Maybe if I want a tach badly enough it would be easier to get a separate tach and attach it to the A pillar lol.
