I went for an emission inspection last week and failed due to "readiness''.
No code "sets" were found then and no engine light now either.
I did have an earlier battery failure so vehicle info was erased. I was told to drive it a bit and come back. Yesterday I returned for recheck and told still not ready. Checked van with Innova 3160 OBD2. Got yellow light and blinking EVA, O2S and, HTR on top screen. How long or how many miles does it normally take for the computer to reset itself? Any specific rules to force a reset? I have exhausted myself searching for helpful info and I got 1 day left to make it pass. Last time long ago I checked- I had a green light. HELP! tks jim
