Hi, I am joining this forum for my Father actually. He has owned two Caravans so far and loves them very much, after coming from a Windstar.
Seeing as I maintain the van for him, I thought I would join and follow others in there repairs, and help where I can. Here is some info on the vans
Previous Van:
1999 Grand Caravan. 3.0L oil burner. Bought in 2008 for $500. Ran to 380,000km and the body was falling off of the poor thing. Only photo I have of it lol:
Replaced it in 2011 with this 2001 Caravan Sport 3.3L. Bought from the original owner with 290,000km on it for $450. The owner thought the head gaskets were leaking, turned out to be the water pump inlet hose. Currently has 335,000km on it going strong!
