Default 2002 Caravan SE Issues

1. All the lights are lit up on the transmission indicator.
2. Will not come out of 2nd gear.
3. Before the battery died from not starting it all winter the check engine light was on.
4. When backing up, back up lights don't come on.
5. Speedometer doesn't work
6. Trip doesn't work

We had the engine light checked, it was on of the transmission input/ output sensors. Replaced both which one it was but we did replace it. But problem was not fixed and light did go off but came back on.

When all the lights are lit up on the indicator, usually a communication issue. The modules aren't talking to each other. Which would also cause all of your other issues as well. Did you have the check engine lamp checked before all this?

Default Yes

I had a garage check the code, they told me it was the input sensor, We ended up replacing both the input and out put sensors. I also checked the code afterwards and got a P1684 & P1698. I know one is for the battery disconnect which we had done. The other I was told was for the TCM.
I have talked to a few garages and they had told be to replace the output shaft pigtail. Than try the TCM. I'm just hoping its something quick, easy, and inexpensive.

P1698 is the code for no communication with the transmission control module. That is your issue that you are having now. don't think a bad pigtail would cause that but nothing shocks me anymore.
