Default Problems with Uconnect and Homelink. 2011 Grand Caravan.

Hello I am new to this, but hoping get some answer for my questions.
I bought a 2011 Grand Caravan Crew about two weeks ago. Never had a Van before. I love my Van. Anyway when I try to connect my phone to U connect is said not available. When I try the homelink to set the garage opener the red light did not go on. I guess my question is if the car is equipped with U connect is there a possibility that those features were disconnected, since the car was a rental car? Thank you for your help. Gabby

It sounds like your vehicle doesn't have Uconnect in it. If you want it, you'll need to look online for the main kit PN 82212159 and the USB / iPod cable PN 82212160. You can find them for < than $300. After the installation, you'll need to have the vehicle flashed by the dealer. Call around, you'll find them wanting to charge between 50 & $100.
