I just inhertited a `96 Caravan Sport...I am so taken with this vehicle that I am looking at getting rid of my `98 Dakota...

The van rattles a little bit when hitting the country roads, but has great aceleration, handles quite well, and gets way better gas mileage than my Dak...what can I do to improve these qualities? (a.k.a. performance, mileage etc.)
