Default Radio Removel

I need better instructions on how to get the radio out of my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan ES then the manual I have tells me how. I have the automatic heating and A/C controls with the 6 cassette player in the console. The van manual gets me as far as taking the ashtray out, then removing the plastic strip at the bottom of the bezel to take the two screws out that hold the bezel on. The manual then says to pull the bezel off as one piece. No can do. Still seems like something else is holding the bezel from coming off.

That is correct, you need to remove the cup holders, then the plastic filler strip, there are two phillips head screws that it was covering, than all that holds it on are push clips. You need to pull gently but firmly as to not break the unit, it along with the air controls and upper vents, comes out as one piece.

Good luck!
