ac problems help I am hot :)
2005 t&C 3.8 liter all the bells and whistles.
ac won't blow any colder than 60 degrees so it is kind of working. The pressures are 200 over 30 so I think the refrigerant and compressor are good. I did add some refrigerant with no change in vent temps.
No water is draining from the evaporator, I stuck a wire up in there to try to dislodge a blockage. (is the drain a tube coming strait out (horizontal)above the steering rack, black 1/2 inch tube with a cut in the plastic tube like a U in the bottom)
also the blend door is having a problem, sometimes it blows out the floor vent rather than the dash vents. possibly the heater vs ac blend door is a problem too I don't know how to check that.

First thing you can do is run the system calibration. If there is an issue with one of the doors or actuators, this will let you know.
A/C-HEATER CONTROL CALIBRATION
The A/C-heater control module must be recalibrated each time an actuator motor or the A/C-heater control is replaced. If the vehicle is so equipped, the calibration procedure also includes rear HVAC positions for each actuator motor.
Turn the ignition switch to the On position.
If equipped with the manual temperature control (MTC) system, press and hold the Rear Wipe/Wash and Recirculation buttons for at least five seconds. If equipped with the automatic temperature control (ATC) systen, simultaneously press and hold the Power and Recirculation buttons on the A/C-heater control for at least five seconds. The MTC A/C-heater control Rear Wipe/Wash button light emitting diode (LED) and Recirculation button LED, or the ATC A/C-heater control Delay and Recirculation graphics will begin to flash when the calibration procedure has begun.
The calibration procedure should take less than two minutes to complete for the manual A/C-heater control, and less than twenty seconds for the ATC A/C-heater control. When the LEDs or graphics stop flashing, the calibration procedure is complete.
If the LEDs or graphics continue to flash beyond the two minute (manual) or twenty second (ATC) calibration time, it indicates that the A/C-heater control has detected a failure and a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set. Refer to Body Diagnostic Procedures to perform further diagnosis. The LEDs or graphics will continue to flash even after the ignition switch is cycled Off and On, until a successful calibration is completed or until the vehicle has been driven about 13 kilometers (8 miles).

awesome thanks for the replys, both fans are working. I did the system callibration its ATC equipted and it stayed on for 3 minutes instead of the prescribed 20 seconds. How do I get the trouble code no code was triggered on the check engine light. and I did not have to drive it any distance for the lights to stop flashing
bummer, I have a blue tooth scan tool for the obd port but its not showing a code, what type of scan tool do I need and where does it plug in at?
ac worked today, its not to warm but I was getting 40 degree vent temps and water draining maybe the recalibration did is some good?
