p1294 code after stalling in puddle
The other day I went through a deep puddle and stalled. After a few minutes, the van started and I drove home. The check engine light went on and I got the code read at Autozone. P1294. I checked the vacuum lines and the throttle body( which was cleaned a couple of thousand miles ago) and could'nt find anything wrong. I reset the code but it came back after about ten miles. The van runs ok, but idles a little high and sometimes downshifts hard. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Well, its defiantly is a vacuum leak. Could be a cracked throttle body, but it could also be many other things too. It could be a small crack in the throttle body, could be a bad gasket on it also, or even the EGR valve. Your best plan would be to get a vacuum leak test done. Good luck!
